News - New CNC machinery for 2016.

We are proud to announce the successful installation and commissioning of an excellent condition used Bridgeport VMC1000/22 on 4th January 2016, purchased late 2015 from Stephen E Mooney Machinery.

Following some light servicing, the machine has been immediately put to work on a 10-off repeat spares order of a large LM25 casting for the rail industry, previously undertaken on a large CNC knee-type mill.

A few specifics:

~800 x 250 x 150mm, 17kg

Machined on all sides, including two tapered semicircular troughs and a pair of 28 diameter x 120 long reamed bores, pitched at ~600mm.
